Dr. Noreen D. Poor is interested in air quality, air pollution control and atmospheric chemistry. Her current research projects include modeling the transport and deposition of nitrogen oxides within the Tampa Bay airshed, and monitoring the ambient air concentration of secondary particles such as sulfate, nitrate and ammonia. The apportionment of fine particles to their emission sources, emission inventories, gas-to-particle conversion, and ambient air particle composition and distribution are potential topics of future funded research.
