Conference Purpose and Goals

The purpose of the conference was the promotion of research, training, and technology transfer toward reducing the vulnerability of trade corridor human populations and health, water/natural resources, and urban information and transportation infrastructure to the impact of natural and technological hazards.

The conference’s primary goals were building inter-disciplinary networks, developing a policy agenda for Trade Corridor vulnerability reduction, and promoting the sustainable development of key components of Trade Corridors.
