Our Mission
The USF College of Nursing Research Center supports the conduct of timely, clinically-relevant, multi-disciplinary research that significantly advances the science of health. This includes, but is not limited to, patient care and health services delivery, evidence-based medicine, and identification of pathophysiological mechanisms.
The Center accomplishes this mission through internal initiated research investigations, but to a greater extent, by collaborative endeavors and partnerships with the Colleges of Medicine and Public Health. Research collaborations with other institutions are also actively and purposely pursued, including Florida Mental Health Institute, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, the James A. Haley Veterans Medical Center, Tampa General Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Shriner’s Hospital for Children, University Community Hospital, All Children’s Hospital, Morton Plant Mease Hospital and other research entities with and beyond the Tampa Bay area.
