The College of Medicine is housed in the Health Sciences Center on the Tampa campus of the University of South Florida. The campus occupies approximately 1,700 acres of land near the metropolitan area of greater Tampa.

 

 

The Health Sciences Center complex provides state of the art laboratory facilities, office space, conference rooms, multi-user research and surgical areas, and a large vivarium.  Modern research equipment supports all research programs in each department.

 

 

 

  

Students in the Ph.D. program also have convenient access to multi-user computers and the Internet. The Health Sciences Center includes a library with a present collection of 114,553 bound volumes and 1,477 subscriptions to journals in the health sciences.
