Biographical Sketch

Chief of Infectious Diseases at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Hospital Epidemiologist, Dr. Greene’s research focus is infections in the cancer patient with particular interest in neutropenia and HSCT related infections. In addition fungal infections, especially mold pathogens are studied. Other topics include infections occurring during neutropenia and pneumonia in the setting of immunosuppression from cancer and its therapy. Finally, infection prevention, early detection and combination therapy has revolutionized the field of cancer care and is another research target.
