Dr. Bulat is the Medical Director of the Falls clinic at the VISN 8 Patient Safety Center and Assistant Professor at the Division of Geriatrics, Department of Internal Medicine at University of South Florida College of Medicine. She received her MD Degree in 1987 from University of Zagreb Medical School, in Zagreb, Croatia. She did a residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital and fellowship in geriatric medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Bulat is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine; she is also a Certified Medical Director by the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA) as well as a member of the American Geriatrics Society (AGS).
