Curriculum
Fellowship training begins on July 1 and takes place at multiple clinical sites. An in-depth exposure to primary care within a long-term care facility is provided at the Canterbury Towers Nursing Home and Baldomero Lopez State Nursing Facility. Expertise in interdisciplinary consultation is obtained through rotations at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital & Nursing Home and the Bay Pines Medical Center. Fellows are exposed to a subacute unit at Tampa General Hospital and Palliative Care Services offered at Tampa General Hospital.
