Current Fellows
Salman Aljubran, M.D., 1st year fellow, will graduate in June, 2013. Dr. Aljubran graduated from King Faisal University College of Medicine, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Aljubran did his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University, MA. Dr. Aljubran has interest in asthma and basic research. He is planning to return to Saudi after completing his training in allergy and immunology. His goal is to join an academic institute there and to establish a Saudi Allergy Society.
Susan Culverhouse, M.D., 1st year fellow, will graduate in June, 2013. Dr. Culverhouse received her medical degree from the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. She completed internship and residency at University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. Dr. Culverhouse has interest in asthma, atopic dermatitis, and other skin disorders of the immune system.
Neetu Talreja, M.D., 1st year fellow, will graduate in June, 2013. Dr. Talreja received her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine in West Penn Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Talreja’s primary interest in allergy & immunology involves asthma in the inner city population and asthma in older adults. Her long term goal is to reduce use of acute health care services for asthma by close follow up of asthma patients and self-management programs that focus on asthma knowledge, attitudes and self efficacy.
Gregory M. Cowan, M.D., 1st year fellow, will graduate in June, 2014. Dr. Cowan received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, in Tampa, Florida. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Phoenix Children's Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Cowan’s primary interest in allergy & immunology involves primary immune deficiencies and asthma in children. His long term goal is to improve patient and parent understanding of asthma and allergic disease to enhance better management and improve long-term outcomes.
Nauman Salim M.D, 1st Year Fellow, Will Graduate in June 2014. Dr. Salim Received his Medical Degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr.Salim’s primary interest in allergy & immunology is Immunological Basis of blood and Marrow Transplantation with Emphasis on Graft versus host disease. His long term goal is to practice Allergy and Immunology and provide immunology expertise for patients undergoing Stem cell Transplantation.
