Understand and practice public health principles in domestic and international environments. Issues include evolution of public health and its role in healthcare systems in the US and internationally; functions of public health and application to the healthcare system in the US and abroad; and need for linkages between medical and public health professionals and institutions.There will be opportunities to participate in domestic or international public health seminars and field experiences.
