Interested in Obtaining the Office 2007 Upgrade on your workstation?

Before you can obtain the upgrade on your USF owned computer, USF HEALTH IS asks that you attend at least two upgrade classes in order to become familiar with the changes in Office 2007 with minimal disruption in your work productivity.

Please contact USF Health IS at 974-6288, opt. 2 if you need more information.

The Foundation workshop is intended to instruct a learner without prior experience in PowerPoint. By the end of the workshop, the learner will be able to construct a basic PowerPoint presentation.

Ten Recipes to Spice Up Your PowerPoint 2007 Presentation (an intermediate level workshop) is intended for the learner who has prior PowerPoint experience.   

Coming this winter:  Lights, Camera, Action! an advanced level workshop to explore narration and video aspects of your PowerPoint 2007 presentation.

Content Management Server (CMS)

CMS training is conducted one-on-one. Before making an appointment for CMS training, you need to get a permissions change to your USF Health account.

Please have your supervisor or dean submit an Account Permission Change form to Ernest Leong (Webmaster) at eleong@health.usf.edu requesting that an account be set up for you and that it include permissions to edit,  or edit and approve, the USF website you will be working on.

Once the account has been set up, then contact Chris Hoelle (choelle@health.usf.edu) to make an appointment for the CMS training.

Checkbox  (new version of Ultimate Survey)

Checkbox is a survey engine used by USF Health. From mid-term testing to research grant support to product and people evaluations, Checkbox is a robust vehicle for surveying anyone with an Internet connection.

TurningPoint

TurningPoint is the Audience Response System (ARS) which has both students and faculty excited.  Students interactively respond, during class, using software on their laptops. Learn how to incorporate TurningPoint with your PowerPoint presentations and create a charged classroom environment.
