Digital Leica DM4000 uright microscope

This instrument supports standard fluorescent imaging and is equipped with fluorescent filter sets for DAPI, FITC, GFP and TRITC, and two higly sensitive CCD cameras. The LAS (Leica Application Suite) program provides you with all features necessary to control the microscope and camera for acquiring excellent images. In addition, it has a Prior motorized stage and focus drives for image analysis interfaced with the Stereologer System supporting computerized quantitative analysis of biological tissues including; cell counts, volume, surface area and length.

Applications This microscope equipped with monochrome and color cameras provides excellent fluorescence and color images. Color camera is very useful for acquiring real color images of histologically stained sample. Monochrome camera with digital pseudocoloring provides multicolor image of fluorescently labeled sample. Indeed, with samples that are about less than 10 mm in thickness, the quality of images is quite comparable to those obtained by confocal microscopy.
