The PHLIF program is directed toward experienced health professionals, who are strongly motivated to develop their leadership skills and who are committed to the betterment of health systems in Florida.

Applicant Qualifications:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• At least three (3) years of experience in the health field.
• Currently hold, or expect to hold, a leadership role in his/her organization or community.
• All applicants must agree to participate fully in the year-long program and to comply with the scholar responsibilities in the application.

Applicants may be nominated by a colleague or they may be self-referred. In either case, the applicant is responsible for completing all sections of the application.
