Moffitt and USF are located near the western coast of Florida. The Tampa Bay metropolitan area, comprised of Tampa, St . Petersburg and Clearwater, is a rapidly growing area with a current population of more than 2 million residents. The sunny climate allows the year-round pursuit of outdoor activities, with world-class beach resorts on the Gulf of Mexico only 30 minutes away. The theme parks of the Orlando area are easily accessible as well.
